Chicago Alderman Advocate Tiny Homes For Homeless

Some aldermen and advocates for the homeless want to see Chicago build “tiny homes” as an affordable housing option. Tiny homes are less than 400 square feet and have become popular in other cities like San Francisco and Seattle. The Department of Planning says they pose some unique challenges, such as location, cost, and zoning status.
