Chicago Alderman Anthony Beale wants the city to double fees on companies like Uber and Lyft. That would be much more than the 15 cent increase being proposed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Beale says the jump could allow the city to roll back taxes on residents, like the bag tax and the monthly garbage fee.
