Chicago Park District President Jesse Ruiz announced Wednesday he’s running for Illinois Attorney General.

In an online video, he says he would use the office to protect the state from Governor Bruce Rauner and President Donald Trump.

Other Democrats running for Attorney General are State Representative Scott Drury, former Chicago police misconduct investigator Sharon Fairley, attorney Aaron Goldstein, and State Senator Kwame Raoul.
