“You are not alone.” That’s the title of a video released last week by the Chicago Police Department addressing mental health issues among officers.

The video highlights stresses faced by officers: a landlord demands overdue rent, a girlfriend asks for space, a child is seen limp and unresponsive, and citizens protest against police.

A Justice Department report cited numbers from the police union that says the suicide rate among Chicago officers is 60 percent higher than the national average. The video ends listing counseling services available to police.
