The Chicago Urban League has a 10-year plan called a Blueprint for a More Equitable Chicago which aims to dismantle structural racism in a segregated city.
The plan calls for efforts to increase home-ownership and business ownership in black neighborhoods. It also calls for increasing the high school graduation rate for black students. The Urban League has spent year one of its plan conducting listening tours in communities on the south and west sides.
