Starting Friday, children under the age of twelve will not be allowed to visit family and friends at Stroger and Provident hospitals until further notice. Officials are hoping to limit the spread of the flu in the hospital system, which has seen a spike in cases over the past month. The announcement follows a similar rule put in place last month by the University of Chicago.
