CTA Announces Plan To Make Stations Safer

The Chicago Transit Authority is announcing a plan to buy new security cameras for its train and bus stations. Funding will come partially from a recent increase to the city’s ride-share fee, which customers pay when using companies like Uber or Lyft. Officials say the cameras will help identify crime patterns.
