The DOJs memo released Thursday could create confusion for some federal prosecutors. That’s according to Jeff Cramer, a former prosecutor in Chicago. He says this latest move by the department points to their inconsistent stance on enforcement priorities. Cramer says current U.S. attorney John Lausch is an experienced prosecutor who knows what the priorities are here in Chicago and points to issues such as homicides and corruption.
