Many residents of Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood have to trek well outside their neighborhood to find a place they can buy fresh, healthy food. That could change next year, if Jewel-Osco carries out its new plan to open a full-service grocery at 63rd Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. WBEZ’s Benjamin Payne reports.
