It’s been three years since 12-year-old Tamir Rice was shot and killed by police in a Cleveland park gazebo. That gazebo was shipped to Chicago last year, and is still waiting to be installed on the city’s South Side. At first, Samaria Rice wanted the gazebo where her son Tamir was killed to be destroyed, but then agreed to have it preserved by the Rebuild Foundation in Chicago. Organizers are trying to figure out how best to present it.
