The mayor of Highland Park is joining a crowded field of Democrats running for Illinois Attorney General. Nancy Rotering says her experience in health care policy would help her as attorney general. She says it would help her sue President Trump’s administration when it come to their attempts to repeal parts of Obamacare. Other Democrats running are State Representative Scott Drury, former Chicago police misconduct investigator Sharon Fairley, attorney Aaron Goldstein, State Senator Kwame Raoul, and Chicago Park District President Jesse Ruiz.
