Hirsch High School Students' Plans To Protest Charter School Thwarted

The Chicago Board of Education is set to vote tomorrow on a proposal to create a performing arts charter school. That charter would share space with an existing school, and students there fear the charter move-in will force the closure of their school. They tried to protest Tuesday but were prevented from walking out.
