Judge Orders Some Palatine School Staff Back To Work

A Cook County judge ordered staff that care for children with medical and special needs to return to work immediately — siding with School District 15 administrators in north suburban Palatine.

Support staff went on strike on Monday, and about 280 workers continue to strike over wages and benefits. The union plans to appeal. Meanwhile, contract negotiations are scheduled to continue Wednesday morning.
