A Live Asian Carp was discovered in a Chicago waterway about 9 miles from Lake Michigan. Asian Carp are an invasive species that have devastated other American waterways. A spokesperson for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says it’s likely this fish was a loner and not a sign of infestation. The Army Corp of Engineers had been set to release a report on how to combat invasive fish in February, but the Trump administration delayed it.
