A man who claims he’s imprisoned on false gun charges may have a chance at getting the conviction thrown out. Anthony McDaniels alleges two Chicago Police officers planted a gun in his car in 2008 because he didn’t give them money. The officers were part of former Sergeant Ronald Watts’ crew. Watts is now serving a federal prison sentence on corruption charges. McDaniels attorney filed a petition in Cook County court to vacate the gun charge.
