The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office says it could be weeks before it has answers in the case of a teenage girl recently found dead at a suburban hotel.

Kenneka Jenkins, 19, was last seen at a party at a hotel in Rosemont early Saturday morning, according to police. Hotel employees found the girl dead inside a walk in freezer the next day.

Rumours about the case have swirled online, fueled by a Facebook video that appears to show Jenkins hours before she died. 

Medical examiner spokeswoman Becky Schlikerman says they’ve performed an autopsy but still need more information.
