Officials Dedicate Street In Slain Teen’s Name

City officials dedicated a street today in honor of a teen killed by gun violence. Ten years ago today, 16-year-old Blair Holt died trying to shield a friend from gunfire on a CTA bus. On Wednesday, his family and officials dedicated a street in his honor. Holt’s parents hope the new sign at 103rd and Elizabeth Street will make would-be shooters think twice before picking up a gun.
