Students in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood are responding to a shooting that happened outside a community college last night. Four people were shot around 8 p.m. last night near Truman College, which sits on the same block as the Wilson red line station on the North Side. All four were wounded, including one man police say is a documented gang member. Geovanni Rabadan is a second year student at Truman. He says the shooting is business as usual in the neighborhood. A spokesperson for City Colleges says Truman is extending its wellness center hours to support students and faculty.
