The ACLU of Illinois if filing a class action lawsuit on behalf of trans women in prison. They say they are in touch with dozens of women in Illinois prisons, who aren’t getting the medical treatment prescribed by doctors, such as hormones. Trans women say they also aren’t able to basic necessities, such as bras.
