Valparaiso, Indiana City Council Considers Anti-Hate Resolution
The City Council in Valparaiso, Indiana is expected to consider an anti-hate resolution at its meeting this evening. The resolution takes a stance against white supremacist, the Ku Klux Klan and any other group that promotes hate against Americans. It comes out of the events in Charlottesville. Councilman Robert Cotton authored the resolution. He’s the the only African-American on the Valparaiso City Council. Cotton says while some in the largely white community may not think the resolution is needed, he says it is.
