Gary Airport Serves As A Deportation Hub And President Trump's Meeting With China's Xi Jinping
On today's show: The Gary-Chicago International Airport is a hub for the deportation of many Mexican immigrants. A group of community leaders are protesting the practice. We speak with Ruth Needleman, a professor emerita of Labor Studies at Indiana University and a long-time Gary resident. We're also joined by JoAnn Persch, a Sister of Mercy nun and co-founder of The Interfaith Community for Detained Immigrants. They help us chronicle the actions at Gary Airport.
