The University Of Chicago's Enhancing Life Project And Genesis At The Crossroads
On today's show:
- The University of Chicago’s Enhancing Life Project has brought together 35 scholars from around the world to theorize ways of making everybody’s lives better. We speak with William Schweiker, a principal investigator with the project.
- As part of the Enhancing Life Project, Unitarian theologian Michael Hogue has been researching ways of reclaiming the earth in a constructive, rather than destructive way.
- Also part of Enhancing Life, Maria Antonaccio, a religion professor at Bucknell University, has been researching alternate theories of sustainability, and how they spill into modern discourse around climate change.
- For our Global Activism segment, Wendy Sternberg returns to Worldview with some of her students to talk about Genesis at the Crossroads, a program that focuses on interreligious and multiethnic bridge-building.
