  • From the moment President Donald Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Iran Nuclear deal, a.k.a. Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the remaining parties (Iran, UK, Russia, China, France and Germany), along with major corporations, have scrambled to keep the framework alive. For analysis, we turn to Trita Parsi, founder and president of the National Iranian American Council.
  • We’ll catch up with WBEZ film contributor and Facets multimedia founder, Milos Stehlik. He’s at the 2018 Karlovy Vary film festival in the Czech Republic. The festival mostly screens independent films from non-Western countries. Many of the most notable films have Russia themes. Milos will discuss the films, and also the death of French filmmaker, Claude Lanzmann.
  • Jerri Zbiral and Alan Teller discovered a shoe-box filled with old photographs and negatives of 1945 India at a Northbrook estate sale. The quality of the photographs led the Chicago couple to go India to find out more about who took them and why.
