A look at life in the Donetsk People's Republic

Reporter Amie Ferris-Rotman traveled to the self-declared Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), located on Ukraine’s eastern fringe, more than a year into the war between forces loyal to the government in Kiev and pro-Russian rebels. Her article about what life is like there now, 'How to Disappear a Country' appears in The Atlantic. Ferris-Rotman joins us to talk about her on-the-ground experiences in Donetsk.
