A panel discussion on the Syrian refugee crisis

The president of the European Commission has urged the 28 members of the EU to take a “ "swift, determined and comprehensive" response to the refugee crisis in Europe. He wants the member countries to increase aid and impose mandatory quotas requiring them to accept more refugees. Last week the picture of a dead Syrian child whose family was attempting to get to Greece drew international attention to the ongoing crisis in Syria and the flood of refugees seeking to escape that conflict. We’ll discuss the response to the Syrian conflict and the ongoing humanitarian crisis with a panel of Syrian Americans- all of whom have been directly impacted by the war in Syria and have been working on the refugee issues since the conflict began.
