We’ll talk about Catalans’ vote in favor of independence from Spain with Alan Clendenning (Madrid Bureau Chief, Associated Press). And, feminists in Israel are concerned about the influence they feel religious extremists have over Israeli culture, as well as its secular law and institutions. We’ll talk with Elana Maryles Sztokman (Israeli-American feminist activist, author of ‘The War on Women in Israel: A Story of Religious Radicalism and the Women Fighting for Freedom’) about what she believes are the disadvantages women have in Israel today and what women are doing about it.
