At least 100 children dead in attack on Peshawar school
The Pakistani Taliban attacked a military school in Peshawar, Pakistan, killing at least 130 people, most of them children. The militant group says it carried out the attack in retaliation for the Pakistani military’s operations in North Waziristan. We’ll talk about the attack, considered one of the deadliest in the country’s history, with Aqil Shah, an expert on the military and author of The Army and Democracy: Military Politics in Pakistan.
