Twenty five years ago, the Chinese government violently suppressed pro-democracy, anti-corruption student protests in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Hundreds were killed and thousands were injured. Chicago-based writer and journalist, Wen Huang, was in Beijing during the 1989 protests. He’ll tell us how that event changed China.
