Bolivia’s Referendum, Oscar Picks, and Volleyball in Chinatown

President Evo Morales of Bolivia lost a key referendum that would have granted him an opportunity to run for a fourth consecutive term. We talk about the loss with Miguel Centellas, a political sociologist at the Croft Institute at the University of Mississippi. Film contributor Milos Stehlik gives us his take on the new Terrence Malick film, “Knight of Cups,” as well as his picks for the Oscars. Plus, we’ll get an inside look at “9-Man,” a documentary that explores the history of a volleyball-style sport played in Chinatowns across the U.S. and Canada. Director Ursula Liang, as well as a 9-Man player from Chicago, joins us to discuss the film.
