British Prime Minister Theresa May Announces Her Resignation
Following several failures in getting her Brexit deal passed by the United Kingdom’s parliament, British Prime Minister Theresa May announced her resignation earlier today. May mentioned that the position “has been the honor of my life to hold,” and said she would step down as the leader of Britain’s Conservative Party on June 7. She will continue serving as Prime Minister until the party chooses a new leader.
