Can Crowdsourcing Save Endangered Species?

Protecting biodiversity is everyone’s business, according to Chicago Wilderness, a regional alliance of organizations that connect people and nature. 

They’ve come up with a strategy to get people involved in protecting what they call 12 “priority species," which include everything from the rusty patched bumble bee and the smooth green snake. Crowdfunding.
