The Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago (ECAC) will celebrate its 30th anniversary on May 3rd. The organization was started in 1984 to help provide an array of support services for Ethiopian refugees resettling in the Chicago area. We’ll talk with one of the founders and the current executive director, Dr. Erku Yimer. The Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago (ECAC) will host its 30th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church.
