Chicago’s Pan African Association Puts On Global Fashion Show

On an average day, the Pan African Association of Chicago works to help immigrants and refugees become self-sufficient. But this week, the organization is diving into the fashion world.

Patrick Augustin, executive director of the Pan-African Association, Debbie Behrman, board chair and Abaya Dake, one of designers featured in “Fashion Without Borders” joins us to talk about the event and how it reflects the kind of work the organization does year-round-- providing services like English language instruction and workforce development.
