A new UNICEF report says that because of civil war, around five-and-a-half million Syrian children are in need of humanitarian assistance. This figure doubles estimates from the past year. Leslie Thomas of ArtWorks Projects will tell us about her new exhibition of photojournalists on-the-ground in Syria. “The Children of Syria” exhibit hopes to “explore the manner in which the conflict has impacted the youngest Syrians in terms of health, security, and education.” Joining Leslie is Northwestern University political science professor, Ian Hurd.
