Angus Macqueen‘s Gulag documents the history of the forced labor camps during the Stalin era of the Soviet Union through first-person accounts from prisoners and their jailers.

The  1999 documentary was reintroduced to new audiences at the Telluride Film Festival last year and will run in 2017 on the BBC.
