Documentary Looks At History Of US Foreign Policy And Intervention

The current presidential race has raised big questions about what role the U.S. should play when it comes to involvement in global conflicts and even military alliances. Those topics are explored in a new documentary American Umpire.

The film takes a critical look at how the U.S. has engaged with the rest of the world, from the days of George Washington to the present. We’ll talk with the film’s writer and producer Elizabeth Cobbs.

American Umpire airs Friday at 7PM on WTTW-Chicago.
