Dominican Nun from Illinois Visits Iraq

Dominican nun Marcelline Koch was recently in Iraq with a group of U.S. nuns to monitor and document the current humanitarian crisis, especially for the religious minorities like the Yazadis and Christians. Sister Marcelline is back to tell us about the conditions these people live in, which she describes as a “mortal sin.” PHOTO: Domincan Srs. Marcelline Koch, Arlene Flaherty and Durstyne Farnan gathered together Jan. 4 before their trip to Iraq. Courtesy of Global Sisters Report.
