Eastern Ukraine remains under Pro-Russian control

The violence and political unrest in eastern Ukraine continued this week. Another city, Luhansk, was taken over by pro-Russian militants. Both the EU and the U.S. announced additional sanctions against Russia to try to increase pressure on the Russians to help clear out pro-Russian protesters who have occupied numerous government centers in eastern Ukraine.
