Ebola Outbreak Spreads To Major City In The Democratic Republic Of The Congo

The recent Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo spread to a major city Thursday, according to the World Health Organization. At least 23 people have already died in this outbreak, which began in more remote areas of the country last month. The Democratic Republic of the Congo was last affected by Ebola during the massive outbreak that swept West Africa in 2014, killing 49 Congolese and more than 5,000 across the continent.
