EcoMyths Alliance wants you to know that many of the things we encounter in everyday life comes from plants: For our monthly EcoMyths segment, we’ll continue a series called, “What the Plant?” 

Today, we focus on the Coffee bean with Kate Sackman of EcoMyths and Sarada Krishnan director of Horticulture and Center for Global Initiatives at Denver Botanic Gardens Sarada is an expert on wild coffee and is currently leading a multi-national conservation strategy for coffee with the Global Crop Diversity Trust. 

Two of the most popular varieties of coffee plants (Arabica and Robusta) could face extinct within a few years due to Climate Change.
