French police continue manhunt for Cherif and Said Kouachi, two brothers suspected in carrying out the attack on the French newspaper Charlie Hebdo. In his blog Informed Comment, Middle East analyst Juan Cole, writes that the brothers had a specific goal - to polarize the "French and European public." The idea, he says, is to make Europe's Muslims fell persecuted so that they join their cause.
