Eyewitness to Syrian chemical attacks tells his story
The U.S. and Turkey said last week they would investigate new accusations that President Bashar al-Assad of Syria is still using chemical weapons after pledging to give them up. As the Syrian civil war was heating up in August 2013, a chemical attack was launched on the suburban Damascus area of Ghouta. Sarin-laced rockets killed by varying estimates anywhere from a few hundred to up to 1800 - with thousands more injured. We’ll talk with Syrian activist Qusai Zakarya, who claims he witnessed the Ghouta chemical attacks.
