Film Festival Celebrates 15 Years Of Showing Films From African Diaspora

The African Diaspora International Film Festival celebrates its 15th Anniversary in Chicago this year, presenting 16 documentaries and fiction films set in the U.S., Guadeloupe, Chile, Canada, South Africa, Haiti, Spain, France, U.K., Burkina Faso and Egypt. 

WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik talks about how the films reflect the deep diversity and global history of the African diaspora in the Americas and the Caribbean with Julia Browne, associate producer of the documentary, Paris Noir, and Charles Coleman, film programmer at Facets Cinémathèque.
