Film Looks At Ethics Around Drone Warfare

Gavin Hood’s latest feature, Eye in the Sky looks at drone technology and the ethics around drone warfare.

In the film, a British colonel, played by Helen Mirren, requests a drone strike to take out a group of terrorists. Then, a young girl enters the target area and the colonel and her cohorts must decide whether to move forward with the strike. 

Film contributor Milos Stehlik sits down with Gavin Hood to discuss the film and the conversation he hopes to spark with its storyline.
