With Father’s Day fast approaching, Real Men Charities, Inc. is gearing up for its biggest event of the year: Real Men Cook. The event, which will take place in cities across America on Sunday, June 16, serves as a “national crusade to positively change the way the world views men in relationship to their families and the community” and features fathers cooking and serving a variety of food. Real Men Charities, Inc. focuses particularly on mental, physical, emotional and economic health in the African American community. To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Real Men Cook, event co-founder Yvette Moyo and chef Harold Tinch join Worldview’s food, health and culture contributor Monica Eng for the newest installment of “Food Mondays.” They share the story of Real Men Cook, as well as some tasty treats they brought to our studio.

Real Men Cooks takes place from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Hales Franciscan High School, 4930 S. Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago. For more information, visit www.realmencharitiesinc.org.
