Badi Assad, a Lebanese-Brazilian guitarist, Aaron Bensoussan, a Moroccan-Jewish singer, Haytham Safia, an Israeli-Arab oud player and Keita Ogawa, a Japanese drummer have come together to perform for the NGO, Genesis at the Crossroads. Their “Saffron Caravan” program premiered in Srebrenica, Bosnia this past summer and is now in Chicago for a November 10th performance at Kendall College as part of its peace building U.S. tour. The interfaith, multi-ethnic group will sing, play songs and share the hopes they have for their music to bring people together.
