According to World Health Organization, close to 300 million people globally are visually impaired, 39 million are blind and nine out of every ten visually impaired people are low-income. Manu Vora is president and founding director of the Blind Foundation for India (BFI), based in Naperville, IL. We first spoke with him in 2008.
