Global Activism: Chicago area doctors bring aid to Nepal

Operation Walk Chicago is a volunteer group of orthopedic doctors dedicated to offering medical treatment to impoverished people around the world. They say there are less than 200 trained orthopedic surgeons in Nepal, a country of more than 30 million people. Dr. Ravi Bashyal is a Nepalese-American orthopedic surgeon and volunteer with Operation Walk Chicago. He’ll tell us how his group plans to aid the hospital and doctors in Nepal.
