Every week, we hear about an individual who’s trying to make the world a better place.According to the World Health Organization, 38 million people around the globe are blind. Due to a lack of resources, more than 90 percent of the visually-impaired live in low and middle income countries. Manu Vora is president and founding director of the Blind Foundation for India, a non-profit based group based in Naperville, Illinois.
He told Jerome the jarring statistics on blindness in India.
