Global Activism: Feeding and Educating Nicaragua’s Impoverished Children

Audio available after show airs.

Over 60 years ago, Catholic priest and Italian missionary, Padre Fabretto, had a vision to aid and minister to Nicaraguan children living in extreme poverty. He would provide them with good nutrition and educational opportunities.

Today, the Fabretto Foundation serves over 18,000 children at education centers and in hundreds of Nicaragua’s public schools. For our Global Activism segment, Fabretto CEO, Kevin Marinacci, will tell Father Fabretto’s story and how his dream thrives today.
